About the Happy Healthy Cat Campaign
Despite the cat’s status as America’s No. 1 pet—more than 90 million cats live in U.S. homes—cats receive less veterinary care than dogs. Far less health research is being conducted for cats than for dogs, and too few scientists study serious cat health problems. More research is needed to unlock the mysteries of feline health.
Morris Animal Foundation’s Happy Healthy Cat Campaign is an unprecedented effort to improve diagnostics, preventions and treatments for feline diseases and to help solve overpopulation and behavior issues in cats. It will significantly increase funding for feline health research and training of new scientists. Through increased funding for feline health research and training of feline-focused scientists, the campaign will lead to major genetic breakthroughs and will provide veterinarians with better tools for helping cats enjoy longer, healthier lives.
Please donate today to create a healthier tomorrow for your feline friends.
